Account and Password

Be aware of all our rules.

• By creating your account you agree with all our rules.
• Do not use the same password as other OTservers here at Olders Retro.
• If you do, it will be at your own risk.
• You must register a Recovery Key when creating the account.
• We have tutorial videos that will help you.
• Account security is the sole responsibility of the player.
• We are not responsible in case of stolen account ("Account Hacked").
• We are not responsible in case of stolen account ("Sharing Account").
• Every character created belongs to the Olders Retro server; the Staff can access them if necessary.
• Trading accounts outside of our website is illegal.
• The account of anyone who buys/sells anything for real money will be deleted.

Gamemaster

Olders Retro has its own Gamemaster characters to investigate within the game.

• Every official Gamemaster has the acronym "GM" before the name.
• The Gamemaster is the authority within the game.

Gamemaster Permissions

• Gamemasters may test or question you during investigations.
• Lying or omitting information may result in account blocking.
• The Gamemaster may request your real name to verify your registration.
• Refusing or providing false information results in account blocking.
• The account will only be unlocked after clarification via support.
• Do not question a Gamemaster about their duties.

Gamemaster Behavior Rules

• Gamemasters are trusted team members with investigation duties.
• They have rights such as IP checks, teleportation, invisibility, and global chat.
• Gamemasters may ban or delete accounts without prior notice.

How to Identify a Gamemaster

• Look for the abbreviation "GM" at the beginning of the name.

How to Behave with a Gamemaster

• Do not offend.
• Do not threaten.
• Do not contradict orders.
• Do not mock or ask for explanations before executing orders.
• Do not rush the investigation.
• Do not ask random questions.
• Do not make jokes.
• Do not question Gamemaster authority.

Do Not Interfere with a Gamemaster

• Never try to stop a Gamemaster’s work.
• If the investigation is not with you, leave the area.
• Do not demand responses or actions from an active Gamemaster.

Do Not Question About Other Players

• Do not try to solve problems that are not yours.
• Do not advocate punishments.
• Do not intimidate or pressure the Gamemaster.
• Do not incite riots over Gamemasters.

Do Not Impersonate or Claim Influence

• Do not pretend to be a Gamemaster.
• Do not edit player info.
• Do not send malicious links.

Do Not Provide False Info

• Do not lie in investigations.
• Do not deny or falsify information.
• Do not endanger other players.
• Do not mislead Gamemasters.

Always Respond to Gamemaster Tests

• Do not ignore them.
• Obey all direct orders.

Failure to Follow These Rules

• May result in blocking, fines, or complete deletion of your account.

💻 Multi-Client Rules

• Up to 4 accounts per IP are allowed.
• Forbidden uses include:
• Abuse in quests.
• Abuse to harm others.
• Abuse to cheat.
• Abuse for personal gain.
• Leaving multiple accounts in a single hunting area.
• Violations may result in punishment.

Gamemaster Checks

• Gamemasters may run tests/commands.
• Disobedience will result in punishment.
• Always respect Gamemasters.

🔧 Software Rules

• BOTS or any advantage software is strictly forbidden.
• Using a bot results in a 7-day temporary ban.

Gamemaster Test Process

• Step 1: GM appears for a reaction — no reaction = next step.
• Step 2: GM clears creatures and asks a question.
• Step 3: GM gives 15 seconds to reply privately — failure = temp ban.

💬 Public Chat Rules

General Use

• World Chat, Advertising, and Help are Staff-controlled.
• Do not charge or question the Staff in public chats.
• Open a support ticket if you feel punished unfairly.

World Chat

• Prohibited:
• Business (buy/sell).
• Asking for help.
• Complaints about systems or quests.
• False claims (e.g., "DDoS", "Nuke").
• Questioning Gamemasters.
• Advocating for players.
• Suggesting game changes.
• Advertising other servers.
• Third-party disputes.

Advertising Chat

• Rules:
• Only for item trading.
• No profanity.
• No chatting or help requests.
• No link sharing.
• No attacks or support requests.
• No sensitive subjects.

Help Chat

• For light in-game questions only.
• Tutors are not Staff.
• Rules:
• Be respectful.
• No profanity.
• No advertising.
• No link sharing.
• No attacking.
• No support requests.
• No drama topics.
• No ban appeals.

Punishments

• Mute (e.g., 2 hours from World Chat).
• Ban (1 to 30 days depending on severity and GM evaluation).
